We will be holding a workshop on building relationships for gospel growth on Thursday, October 10th. The two hour session will focus on finding ways to start conversations that lead to deeper connections and opportunities for the gospel. Sessions will provide participants with training in beginning and shaping conversations toward deeper connections. With the diversity found within our city these topics will seek to find effective ways at recognizing cultural differences and being prepared to speak graciously with new connections. We will also talk about what it means to be a fourth soil believer and how we can identify movement catalysts in our different communities.
For those interested in putting this training into action, we will be holding a joint football (soccer) tournament in conjunction with this event at Flughafen Tempelhof on Saturday, October 12th. This tournament will seek to bring people together for the purpose of connecting them with believers from different churches and communities from across the city.
Luke Baublet has lived in Berlin with his family since 2014. Luke is the Berlin Area Leader for Greater Europe Mission (gemission.org) coaching a team in GEM’s mission of reaching Europe by multiplying disciples and growing Christ’s church. He co-founded MultiplyBerlin (multiplyberlin.de), a team working for the transformation of the spiritual landscape of Europe through catalyzing Disciple Making Movements in Berlin. Luke is passionate about Berlin, making multiplying disciples of Jesus, and coaching leaders to thrive and excel.
Scott and family are quite new to Berlin, but served God for 10 years in the Middle East among a people group that has only a few hundred believers. Their team there ran a community education center, planted an International Church, and started house churches of that. Scott had previously served in the USA as a Christian education pastor for 3 years while completing seminary. He loves the multi-national nature of Berlin, and making new friends along the way.
